Cocoa Beach Morning Wedding. Merritt + Alan

Despite a hurricane threatening to arrive the night of Merritt and Alan’s wedding day and their venue cancelling on them last minute, these two went against all odds and chose to get married anyway the morning of their wedding day. Can you believe it didn’t even rain?? M + A were blessed with the most beautiful and sunny wedding day and it was so incredible to witness every guest coming together to help these two have the best day ever.

Merritt’s grandma’s home was used as a getting ready location for the ladies and it was filled with so many beautiful items and corners that told a story like an entire wall with family portraits. Alan and his guys got ready in a home nearby and at around 10 am, we headed to the beach for their first look. First looks have become one of my favorite things to capture on a wedding day, I love the big smiles, occasionally teary eyed looks, and all the snuggles that unfold during a first look.

M + A got married by the beach and despite the heat, they didn’t stop smiling or holding hands during their ceremony which was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen!! Their wedding day ended with them celebrating inside a hall room available under M’s grandma’s home and even if it wasn’t what they had originally planned, it was nothing short of amazing and special. Merritt and Alan are a great example of the kind of love that the Bible mentions in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, a love that is true and that kind of love, never fails.
